How to pay off your loan
| Step Number | Procedure |

| Step 1: | Sign in to your account and click "Loan Payoff" under Payments & Billing. |
| Step 2: | Select the loans you want to pay off and hit the "Request a Payoff Amount" button. |
| Step 3: | Enter payoff information. |
| Step 4: | Hit the "Make a Payoff Payment" button. Then, congratulate yourself for paying off your student loans. |
You may also call 1-800-699-2908 (toll-free U.S. and Canada) to obtain your payoff amount.
If you mail your payment:
- We must receive it within 10 calendar days of acquiring your official payoff amount.
What happens if I don't mail payment within 10 days?
- It may not satisfy the outstanding principal and interest.
- You will need to get a new payoff amount.
- Daily interest will continue to accrue until we receive payment for the accurate payoff amount.
